WE ARE:

  • A family friendly church extending the love of Jesus to all peoples.

  • A multicultural and multigenerational blend of people who find identity in Jesus.

  • Committed to historical, orthodox Christianity and take a guarded, but open-minded stance on secondary matters of faith.

  • We strive for a balanced ministry of winning the lost, building the believers, and equipping the saints as we seek to emulate the ministry of Jesus.

TRADITIONS

  • We follow the Christian calendar with celebrations of Maundy Thursday, Easter, Pentecost, Thanksgiving, Advent, and Christmas.

  • We offer communion on the third Sunday of each month.

  • We host a monthly luncheon on the last Sunday of the month.

  • We scholarship teenagers to attend Discovering God Winter Retreat and Higher Ground summer camp in August.

  • We have been active in training pastoral interns and sending them on to pastor other congregations

  • Many of our men participate in a monthly, mid-week accountability group

CORE VALUES

Our values flow from the concept of “Community” - people who are bonded together in shared beliefs, experiences, purposes, and especially in the common identity of knowing Jesus.

“Community of Faith” that embraces the gospel of grace and emphasizes the essential Christian teachings

“Community of Love” that demonstrates the love of Jesus in attitude and action

“Community of Worship” that honors God through meaningful expressions of corporate worship and devotion to spiritual disciplines

“Community of Influence” that touches people outside of the walls of the church (we have experienced God to be real in the midst of our struggles and we want others to experience the same)

“Community of Purpose” that seeks to win the lost, build the believers, and equip emerging leaders
